The new 2010 GT500 is supposed to have dual knock sensors. Can these be added to our 4.6? Where are they located?

I thought our computer had the information for knock sensors that it was just turned off in the factory tune.

There are aftermarket knock sensor kits for our cars I believe. Knock sensors are an invaluable safety tool, especially on a boosted application...... astounds me that these cars left the factory without them.

J&S Vampire knock sensor. It will pull timing individually from each cylinder. And it can be programmed to add timing if using methanol & water injection. It can also be boost sensitive.

Yea, I've been keeping the Vampire as my choice when I build my engine. But I was thinking maybe the gt500 has a new mounting places for the knock sensors and it can be applied to our blocks. Though it's amazing that the Vampire can just pull timing on the cylinder that is experiencing knock. That alone would make it worth the price.
