It's good to see Ford didn't just do the outside over.
540hp, 510tq, and 3:55s and minimal weight gain.
I'm curious to see what the new numbers will be.
Not to mention the front end isn't just a diff bumper.
Gives more distinction.
Would have liked to have seen alittle weight dropped, but with only 20lbs gained, it makes me think that they prolly did cut some weight to try and offset the typical refresh weight gain. Will be interesting to see if the AL block actually comes in 2011, since the hp bump rumors held true.
Minus 80 lbs, would bring it under 3900 lbs... not enough really, but a start.
Tho it would be sweet if they did a new KR with a backseat delete, no sat nav, only base level cd player, CF front fenders and hood, and some suspension work. Pretty much a stripper with abit more power and less weight. Street legal Cobra Jet?

Why the hell is Ford so damn scared to show the rear?We've seen enough front and side angle shots already. I don't know that i've ever seen more interior/front/side shots of a car, yet nobody at Ford thought to take a single photo from the rear end.

All of these pics look good compared to the other thread where the had some less than flattering angles. A drop in wieght would be great. Maybe great enough for even ME to come into the 21st century.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not a big fan of the current GT-500 but this one looks to be a notch or two better. Gotta love the power increase. And the interior blows my away. Much nicer than the current GT-500 IMO. Kudos to Ford! :beer:

Okay, okay, FINALLY a 2010 I like! That convert looks good. The nose is still a little odd and takes some getting used to but something about that hood and the GT500 front does it for me.

BTW anyone who is wishing for an AL block, wait till 2011...
The little birdie who told me this also told me of the power bump that happened.
2011 MY will bring some good engines to the Stangs:
GT500 Al 5.4 s/c 540hp
GT Al 5.0 400hp
And at some point the TT 3.5 v6 will make a showing.
