The excessive chrome trim is too much for me. I like the performance, and those styling cues were nice back then, but if I'm going to shell out the coin for a new Porsche, no thanks.

That's the point, man. It's like complaining about the chrome trim on a 57 Bel-Aire, or the chrome on this car:

Yeah, like I said the styling cues are nice for that old school retro look, but I wouldn't buy it for what that car will cost. If I wanted that retro look I'd have an original 80s 911 restored and built to my liking, if I want a new $150,000 Porsche give me something that looks like this..
