CJ Wilson looks like he will join your team.

I hope Josh is healthy and ready to go for opening day at the new park.

I'm curious to see how the Rays starting pitching shapes up next year. Now that Matt Moore will probably be on the team, it will be interesting to see what the Rays do.

The other 5:
Shields - club options til 2015, 7mil in 2012 - will we pick this up? pretty steep for the Rays.
Price - Signed through 2012, 1.5mil
Hellickson - UFA in 2012 - Will we resign and what will it cost?
W Davis - signed through 2017, 2012 1.5 mil
J Neimann - UFA 2012 - the most expendable in terms of talent (in my opinion)

Epstein off to the Cubbies
Report: Epstein agrees to deal with Cubs - MLB News | FOX Sports on MSN
It looks like Red Sox GM Theo Epstein is off to try to end another curse, reportedly agreeing to a deal with the Chicago Cubs.

Epstein, who was granted permission to talk to the Cubs last week, is expected to accept a deal worth more than $15 million over five years, according to Boston's WEEI.com.

Epstein took over as GM of the Red Sox in 2002, helping the team win its first World Series in 86 years in 2004 and adding a second title just three years later.

At 28, he was the youngest GM in league history at the time.

Interesting, I guess it will give us something to watch playing all the AL teams ......probably not the best right now seeing how we are super young and inexperienced and the AL overall a better league.

I can't wait for the rivalry to grow.

I might see Francona going to Chicago as well. From watching all the shows in ESPN today about what happened in the Boston about eating chicken and drinking beer. lol

He will get a hell of a pass if he wins a title in Chicago.

John Lackey is to undergo Tommy John surgery.

This causes an option to vest in his contract for a 6th year at the major league MINIMUM.

Im sure the Yanks are all over Roy Oswalt. CJ is not having a good postseason so far, it might his money, but I doubt it.

They need to keep CC in the fold first. Just read somewhere that Oswalt will be re-signed

Theo hired Jed Hoyer from the Padres to be GM
