2012 Recaro seats weight savings?

Given the Boss is a hair above 3,600# with the Recaros, I doubt these seats will be that much lighter (~20# total), even figuring in manual vs power. I don't have any facts do back any of this up, just a thumb in the air best guess.

don't forget that a good chunk of weight was added to the boss over the GT with the double side exhausts and the transmission cooler.

True, but I still highly doubt these seats are 50# lighter than base.

yea, i would agree with that. you can only lose so much weight while keeping side airbags and a reclining back.

Someone on TS already did the swap and said they weighed basically the same as the stock seats. You can find the thread with a search.
