Yes, car is on stock stall. I have no doubt that 3C transformed your car, hope she improves next week!
We experienced our first set back tonight. We were test fitting the lower manifold after grinding the block to make sure it cleared. I wanted to inspect the port work on the manifold a little closer so I flipped it over. I noticed two very small holes in the runners, its right where the manifold bolts bottom out. If I had to guess during porting to much material was removed and the bolt made the hole when it was installed previously.
The dilemma we have is "whats the best way to fix this"? When this happens on Boss manifold porting I have seen people use epoxy to seal it up, the other option is run some RTV on the bolt threads for the manifold and hope it seals it up. Final option would be to weld it up and grind the weld down to blend it in. I think this makes the most sense but I need to figure out what we are going to do. If anyone has any tips post them up, I know only a few people are reading this post but you all are knowledgeable so help a brotha out!. Here are a coupe of pics of the runners in question.
Moving to some good news the trans is back on the engine. This took a little bit of time but its all bolted up and we started putting the headers back on. I will swing by there tomorrow and wrap up the headers, install plugs, and put the engine back on the K member. We think we can have it bolted back in the car tomorrow but well see.
