This is a great thread and I'll bump it with a question.

I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the owner's manual, but how do I program the built in garage door opener?

I don't remember the specific process, but there are two versions of the opener. I don't recall what determined which one you got. Homelink is one. Can't remember the name of the other. You need to read the manual to determine which you have and procedure.
