2013 Idiot light help

800 miles car bone stock. out for a drive today, warning light for tire pressure comes on, then a message in dash "tire pressure system failure". stopped, all tire pressures checked fine, started car back up, same message. after getting home, came out and fired her up, pulled into garage. Light not on anymore. Any ideas? Happen to anybody else? Just dont want to have dealer keep it for a few days to tell me nothing is wrong. Thanks guys

Sounds like some sort of system malfunction. Good news is its just the TMPS- system. Bring it in if it happens again

4 primary units involved which any of them could cause this failure.

The TPMS sensor(s)
Wheel speed sensors
TPMS unit
ECM

It probably threw a soft code as well. That might be helful in determining where the problem may have originated.
