Figured I'd share my experience participating in the 2016 Drag Weekend West event put on by the Hotrod.com staff. Overall, great experience being able to compete @ 3 tracks in 3 days including a 500 mile road course with mandatory checkpoints. By the way, no support vehicles were allowed after leaving Phoenix on day 1. Went 10.24 on Thurs test-n-tune (PHX), 10.25 on Friday (PHX), 10.39 on Sat (Tucson), and 10.16 on Sunday (PHX). Overall, finished with a 2nd place in the super street power adder class with a 10.27 ET avg over the 3 days. Not bad for a stick shift street car with functioning A/C and cruise control!
