im torn between 4.10's and 4.30's......
96-98 4Vs make their 305 HP peak at 5800 rpm. 99/01 4Vs make their 320 HP peak at 6000 rpm. That will make some difference, though I would still take a 4.56 for a 96-98 (and the quickest of the 'bolt-on' cars certainly do).32V NACobra said:A question for the New Edge crowd. The SN95 board is in love with 4:30's for the 96 - 98 Cobras and you guys like the 4:56's. Why the difference in gear choices?
RoadZOmbie said:Damn brain.....I'm still confused......My cobra is a DD (engine mainly stock)....I do a lot of 80mph highway speeds everyday....but I want more low end torque/acceleration!......What would be my RPM ranges at 80mph on 4.10's, 4.56's?
u have a cobra and u follow the speed limit?Orange Stang 04 said:At 65 mph I'm at 2600 and 70 its a tad higher. The RPM's arent high at all, if your doing like 80+ then its closer to 3K, but the highest speed limit in Ohio is 65 so thats all I ever do.
Thats the worst thing i've read tonightsnake134 said:u have a cobra and u follow the speed limit?
