I just picked up my 03' Cobra a couple of days ago and i'm trying to decide on what exhaust i'm going to do.

What's the best way to go with the 03's, 3" or 2.5" pipes?

Congrats on the car!

2 1/2" magnaflows work great on my car and should flow well enough to support the factory blower w/pulley's. They sound good, look good and wont break the bank.

thanks 03DOHC

I want as much power as I can get from changing the exhaust...but I've been hearing that some people have lost hp and boost when they went to a 3" exhaust. Is this true?

Losing boost doesn't necessarily mean you lost power. When I put the baffles in my tips my boost increases to the 10lb mark, but it makes less power. When I remove the baffles my boost gauge reads lower, but it makes a little more power.:)

I don't believe you'll lose power if you go with the QMP 3" exhaust if that's what you're asking, but from what I've seen here I still believe the 2 1/2" is the way to go with the stock blower, even if you pulley it.
