2 1/2" magnaflows work great on my car and should flow well enough to support the factory blower w/pulley's. They sound good, look good and wont break the bank.

I want as much power as I can get from changing the exhaust...but I've been hearing that some people have lost hp and boost when they went to a 3" exhaust. Is this true?

Losing boost doesn't necessarily mean you lost power. When I put the baffles in my tips my boost increases to the 10lb mark, but it makes less power. When I remove the baffles my boost gauge reads lower, but it makes a little more power.
I don't believe you'll lose power if you go with the QMP 3" exhaust if that's what you're asking, but from what I've seen here I still believe the 2 1/2" is the way to go with the stock blower, even if you pulley it.
