I am trying to find new tires to mount on Saleen wheels. Looking to get package deal I like the fact that you can get a 315/35-17 but I really want 18" wheels. All the package deals come with 285/35-18 tires on the rear and 265 tires for the front. Looking to go a little wider on the rear like you can with 17" tires. Any reason why the 315/30-18 wouldn't fit on the rear or 275/35-18 on the front? I'm sure the quad shocks need to go but I'm planning on installing a Cobra IRS or MMS torque arm so they are going to go away anyway. Will probably be IRS though so don't know if the would be any fit ment issues. Looking at the new Toyo R888 tires. Any help guys would be great.

The 315 with an IRS will be a tight fit, I'm running 315/35/17 on 17x11 and the tire is flush with the fender. I've ran 315/30/18s and it fit the same as the 17s...tight fit with IRS fyi.

I have that setup now but just with no IRS and 265 in the front. No rubbing. No reversing quad shocks. With an IRS you will have to roll

Im running 335.30.18 on my 03 IRS, the isuess that i have is that they rub on the fenders (which I plan to have rolled in a few weeks) & if you jack up the car (completely off the tires) it will also rub on the IRS bolt.
