depends on what type of tire you run first. I wouldn't recommend running a 315 on a 10" wide rim. I'm running a 315 toyo on a 10.5" wide. The widest I would go on a 10" is 295 unless its nitto than a 305 woudl suffice. Front your fine. Many people run 255 or 265 w/o issue. I ran a 275 bf goodrich on a 18x9 for awhile w/o issue.

Like I said before I would stay away from 315's on a 10" wide rim. Your going to run into a lot of bulge. The reason i recommended the 305 in nitto was because nitto runs smaller than other companies like bf goodrich. Just my 2 cents. Search is your best option here.

I will post sidewall pics of my 315 azenis when I get home. The sidewalls are flat. No bulge. Nothing. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't want to run anything smaller

This is y I said Nitto 315 there not as wide as others, when I had these they actually curved in instead of flush or buldge on a 10.5 so 315 in a Nitto will be good if he wants to take the 315 route but ya anything else id say 305.

Toyo Proxes R888 at tiresdirect.net has the 315/35/18 for $290 ea. Not a bad looking tire. I'm leaning that way myself. I'm sure those will fill the wheel well nicely.

yeah when i run these out id be willing to run a toyo r888 315/35/18..i was kinda scared at first with the tire size but the falkens azenis are ok..only 315/30/18 for 264..a 35 series would definatley fill the walls better...post pics of your install on here when your done thanks bud
