Yes, people call them the wrong thing, and confuse them all the time
Brands:
I've used venturesheild, autobahnd, and xpel.

Venturesheild sucked and got defeated.

Autobahnd is thicker and more noticeable, but have used it the most and happy with the protection

Xpel is definitely the best, but also the most expensive
