Hi guys, I begin to shop for a converter but I hesitate to choose between a 4C or 5C. I read alot about 4C and I think this converter run very good on track and daily drive too.

I found a many informations about 4C but not alot 5C. I would feeback about guys here who had this converter or someone who can help ne to make the good choice.

I go on the track 4 times per year and DD with the family for the rest.

Many thanks

I have a 5c in my car and I have a friend with a 5c also. they both 60ft 1.5x's. mine best 1.58, his 1.54.
We have another friend with a car with pretty much the same mods with a 4c and it 60ft's 1 tenth slower than both of ours.

my car with the 4c would 60 in the 1.62-1.64 range on motor in 1500' d/a with an occasional 1.59 when the d/a dropped to 0'ish. Unless your going max effort n/a build I would choose the 4C

Obviously Expert has the tune working to be running the numbers you are running with your mods, gota love that -1000 da in the Canadian N.E, 4c would be the best for all around, what does your tuner say?

My tuner told me a 4C make good time on the track and DD very good. A 5C is make monster time on the track but on DD he said he don't like the feeling. But is my decision. So my goal today is to talk with us who have a experience with a 5C to take my decision.

PS. Sorry for my english I hope you understand me!!

I have a 5c and it is great - my car is a fair weather car - no rain no snow ,runs on a drag radial- 99 percent of the time-If it is a true dd 365 days a year car - I would chose a 4c personally.

For what its worth I daily drive a 4C and have cut a 1.54 footbraking it from 3k rpm at the track. Im sure there is more in it with a little more launch rpm or a transbrake

I live in Quebec,Canada and I have a chance to drive my car in a Optimal DA in october and early november. We have DA like -800 and my best run with my set-up I rolled 11.68@118 mph with 1.74 of 60'. And my friends with 3c and 4c ran low 11s high 10s with 1.48-1.50 of 60'

it is a big difference between 4c and 5c? I think most of guys run a 4C

I run a 5c on my daily driver. I couldn't imagine going with a smaller converter. Low 1.5 60' times and great street manners in ALL conditions.

I have a 5C and have driven and made passes in a friends car with a 4C. The difference is pretty much unnoticeable to me unless he actually has a 5C and doesn't want to admit it, lol! I would actually like to try something in the 44-4600 range myself...
