Hi all. Long story short, mechanical failure driving my new to me 2003 F350 4x4 7.3L home has led to a failed diff carrier in the Dana 60 FRONT axle. I believe the ring and pinion are ok, but needs new bearings all around.
As its a chance to upgrade from an open diff, my budget can allow for a Dana Trak-Lok, Detroit Locker or TruTrac
Truck is a CCLB so it wont be rock crawling. But if Im in 4x4 offroad, I want as much traction as possible. Air lockers or an Ox locker are really cool, but too far out of my budget. 500-700 for the carrier, another 200 for bearing kit then install labor is what I have to work with.
Whats your pick and why?
