I wonder why the first seal leaked?
Why a clutched fan vs electric? Now Back to the video.
Clutch fan is WAY more powerful then electric. Electric is used only used only when you have packaging constraints. Why a clutched fan vs electric? Now Back to the video.
Whelp, now we all know these engines are piece of shit with leaky crank seals. Spread the word.
More seriously, Jesus H Christ, what is the point of a OHV engine I'd it's buried in there like that.
Gotta pull the cab off to do manifolds or spark plugs?
.
How so?
I didn't see anything and I'm halfway through a timing belt on a Tundra 4.7 which looks like a 60's Impala. There's actually a ton of room in there.
Got to love mechanical fans... what a PITA.
Way more that most engine bays no days. I can sit in mine comfortably! There's actually a ton of room in there.

I usually agree they suck but on something like this the reliability of a mechanical fan is second to none. OE electric fans are usually great but sometimes you get a full on POS design which craps out. For offroading, towing or long term reliance the mechanical fan is the way to go.
