76.5 Gates HD for Gatorback?

Hey all:
I got a 76.5 Gates green HD belt on my snake. Wondering about changing it to a gatorback. I heard the Gators run big...anyone swapped that size out? My Gates chirps like bastard when cold and spins more than the tires in cooler weather. Thanks for the help.

You're using the wrong size belt then. I've used several different Gates HD's with different pulley combo's and never heard one chirp and hold all of my boost to my shift point of 6200rpm. Even if you get a 76.5 Gatorback you'll experience the same problems.

I bought the car with a 76.5 Gates HD. Thanks for the info. How much boost u running? I have had the belt off once and it was a tight bi÷#h... Ill do some research. Im running 28 lbs and it was pretty chilly when I was getting on it. The car is still pretty new to me though.. any help is appreciated...
