7k RPM on a stock engine ??

Where do you guys shift at ? My dyno graph show almost a flat line from 6000-7000.

6200, pretty sure that's where my car peaks. Upper only Eaton

I shift around 6300ish as stated. Like said with an upper only car, revving any higher is pointless. Ports make all the power up top and if ported I'd go to 6500ish.

6500 upper only race port. Going to play around a little this year with as low as 6k and as high as 7k, see what the car likes

I have a whipple 2.3 stock upper and #4 lower .

6k even with an upper only. After seeing my dyno graphs it was clear there was no benifit hp wise running it further.
