When a V6 Camaro cost 40k we got an issue especially when you can pick up a GT for 30k or even a RT for the same amount. 40K buys a ScatPack or a loaded GT or a V6 Camaro. Do the math what would you buy?

You must be talking about a used GT. A new, loaded GT is near, I believe, $52K.

Me driving.......I got away.....big time......on a technical course......

Edit: This is on the 220 tread wear Good Year SC3's, not the 1LE on 100 tread wear SC3R's.

That wasn't an R, though. I'm guessing you're in the camp that believes the only quantifiable difference between the R and regular GT350 is the tires?

Wow, some people comparing the 350R to the Z1LE??? The Z1LE is built like an un corked race car without a cage. Its not close in magazines and its not close with amatuers behind the wheel in the old real life either. The SS1LE is an honest to god good comparison

Nobody is comparing the GT350R to the ZL1 1LE. (Well, Zyborg tried to.) So please don't get that started. And, no, the SS 1LE is NOT an "honest to god good comparison" to the GT350R. A regular GT350, sure. The GT350R, no.

More students would make it cheaper to cover building costs. I.e. the more you sell, the cheaper your fixed costs. Yes, new dorms every now and then, but it's probably a dream ROI.

Professors probably lecture about 7 hours max for all classes every week, and don't work in the summer, all holidays. Their offices they spend an hour a day in, take up just as much space as dorms. Money is dumped in athletics and endowments. No one gets the benefits but the people that work there.

Exactly. Universities are ran just like a Socialist state, where the government employees reap all of the benefits. This is still not the banks fault. They loan the money. The universities both private and public are the problem.

This is fair. Although 350 and R really is not that different. Wheels, tires, wing, red snake, rear seat delete, +emotional points. What else? of these tires are by far most significant.

additionally the 350R is roughly a hundred pounds lighter, heavier/stiffer springs, magneride is standard on 350R and tuned specifically for it.

It is a badass package from the factory at the price point. Just not with the large mark ups, IMO.

Do I care if they discontinue the Camaro?!?! Not at all.
The 6th gen is definitely nicer than the previous generation, which is just hideous. A shoe box on wheels.

I was watching TRC this AM and there was a pullied FBO 10sp ZL1 that was very impressive at TX2K19. It hurt a lot of feelings although now that I think about it there is nothing it did that a procharged 10sp coyote could not do for 20k less.

Ive seen base GT for 30k and the lowest base 6th gen SS Ive ever located was at least 35k. I paid 37k otd for my auto 2SS in 2015.
