I want to use my SCT tuner 93 Octane program but can't
cause in Nevada we only have 91 Octane. One of the Fuel
Company's here however sells 100 Unleaded Race Fuel.
Can I mix these and at what rate portion to obtain a 93
unleaded gas that would be equal to what others can buy?
(75%-93 & 25%-100 Mix=93?)

You can do that, it'll work. It would be roughly 2 parts 91 octane to 1 part 100. i.e. 10 gallons 91 octane, and 5 gallons 100 octane would give you 94.

This is how I have alway done it.

This is an example=

Pump gas 93 octane
race gas 100 octane

3 gallons of pump gas @93
and 3 gallons of race @ 100
=_____
579

so take 579 and devide it by 6 gallons =96.5 octane.

Not bad for a dumb redneck huh.:-D

Here's what I figure:

1) The gas tank holds 15.7 Gallons total.

2) If you mix 3 parts 91 to 1 part 100 you get 93.2 octane.

3) That % then would be 25% of 100 and 75% of 91.

4) On a full tank of gas 15.7 gallons and with 25%
being 100 octane then you would add a little under
4 Gallons of 100 to each full tank of gas to get 93 Octane.

5) Actually aprox 3 3/4 gallons to every low tank would be close.

FYI.
I think your overall cost per gallon would be cheaper if you cut it with reg unleaded. Did this many many years ago.
I don't know the cost of all the grades to do the math.
Maybe worth the time to figure it out.

Hey-Nice Idea:

Could work nicely depending on what the 100 cost a gallon.
Worth checking out for example using 87 you would need
a ratio of about 1/2 87 & 1/2 100 for a octane of 93.5.
Assuming it's safe then if you paid 1/2 tank 7.85 gallons
of 100 @ lets say $5.00/Gal and 1/2 tank 7.85 gallons of
87 @ lets say 2.00/gal you would pay total $54.95 per tank.

Now if you use 91 then it might be as follows 11.75 gallons
at $2.28 and 3.95 gallons @ $5.00 for a total of aprox $46.54.

So....Maybe the 87 won't work afterall???

It does not work that way. HERE is a link to a thread with more info than you will ever want to know on the subject of mixing fuel to gain octane.. Knock yourself out..
