I thought they had filed for bankruptcy and closed a year or two ago. Glad to see them open. I went there a few times when I lived in Round Rock, usually had decent prep, didn't take too long to get thru the car line and run.

Track was sold off and its back up and running. Last I checked.

I live 8 miles from SAR. It's been back up and running a couple years now. New owner is very cool and has made many improvements to the place. It's a great place to go again. Look them up on Facebook. That is where they announce scheduling and etc.

Hell if they are open its almost worth the drive from Houston. Royal Purple is a great track, but it is jam packed every damn test'n'tune. I have gotten there when the gates open and have been lucky to get 2-3 runs in.
