Hi
I still own car #61, having owned it since 2002. It does not get driven very much, and while driving it to a RHD Mustang launch event in my home town in Reading, UK, it threw a CEL. The CEL comes on after a few minutes and does not flash.
Once the engine is switched off and back on, the light does not come back on until a few minutes pass. There is a hot smell, that I would want to investigate the O2 sensors or Coolant level.
I have ordered an OBD I code reader, and it's on it's way to me from the US.
Any pointers ?
I have tried to check the coolant level from the higher of the two radiator / coolant caps. I cannot get the one by the strut brace open. Is there a trick to it ?
I do so little mileage on the R, I don't check anything but the oil. So this maybe a result of my low usage of the car.
Appreciate any guidance and a working link to the Cobra R supplement, as my car did not come with one, and most links I have found are broken to the original doc.
Regards
Mark
