Well it ain't an '03, but I am happy. Love the roll bar and the harnesses, so now I can go to an NHRA track.

One pass on tape from Penwell near Odessa TX Saturday night, Mar 8. Here is the still and the video.

At 11.40pm, we recorded conditions of 25.1 in Hg station pressure, 49F, 30% humidity, for a density altitude of 5330 feet.

I was running pig rich (around 11.0:1) with low bottle pressure from an hour in the staging lanes and low battery so no bottle heater, so I wasn't really disappointed with the 11.93.

I launched at 6000, I think, and nearly bogged it. The roll bar stiffened up the chassis a bunch. I really like it, even with the weight addition.

This chassis setup works pretty well. I could have launched it off the limiter and gotten the 60' down below 1.5.

Dude those are super numbers especially for the elevation. Congrats.

Do you have any pics of the roll bar set up with the top down?

Thanks guys. Here is a better one from tonight. Launched on the limiter this time.

I leaned it out some from last week, and launched it on the limiter after seeing the surface was very very good, even though there wasn't much rubber down yet.

I need to check my barometer, but, if it is right, then for 24.9" Hg, 65 degrees, and 50% humidity, the density altitude was 6880 feet. Pretty lousy air.

I only made two passes, the first was an 11.88, didn't launch it hard enough, and the second was the video run at 11.83. I am happy. 1.48 60' is all it is going to do in this air.
