A8 & M6 Hellcats vs 14 GT500

It would be interesting to see if the addition of just a filter adds any performance gains to that car. I'm guessing very minimal if any, but IIRC I do believe I read a thread over on hellat.org where someone installed a "green" air filter of some sort, and claimed they could "tell a difference" with how the car revved. Any truth to this?

Smoke and mirrors. He's had it on the dyno. No noticeable gains. He raced another auto hellcat and edged him by a fender.

Does Fatt Cat race in the full video? Hope so, because I've seen a couple of his races and his Hellcat is a monster beast.

so both hellcats have MT's? I wouldn't waste my time with 555r's. It's better than stock Goodyears but only marginally.

Isn't that what we all want to see? We know a bolt on GT500 will beat a stock HELLCAT. We want to see them stock for stock and mod for mod.

Lol yea. He lit the tires up at launch. Personally I wouldn't call that dragging someone. He won by default. That wasnt the first time he ran Joe. I set them up for their first races. Fattcat beat the E63 and his friends R8. Couldn't quite come around the R8 in time from a dig but beat the E63 from both roll and digs. Beat him so bad he found a shop in Houston and bought long tubes for the car and got retuned. Raced fattcat the next night and I believe won a couple of times. But from a roll the challenger is still faster.

But he just raced a modded GT500 and still won. So no. It's not just stock cars.

Without stating the obvious, it looks like people really take the street racing scene seriously in the Houston area. I guess with the weather being decent most of the year people don't need a whole lot more hobbies to keep themselves preoccupied.
