Aftercat x pipe, any gains?

Obviously the majority of the gain from an O/R pipe is from removing the cats, but is there any noticable gain from just the 3" aftercat X?

Little to none. All you're doing is changing the sound.

I swapped out the factory h pipe with a basani true after cat x pipe and gained 7 hp...get one!

My testing also showed gains. The stock H pipe is 2.25". I went with the Ford X pipe which is 2.75" Should show even better gains with a supercharger.

Nice! Anyone know why Ford used 2.25" for the stock midpipe and didn't just do 2.5" all the way back? The first time I saw the stock H it confused the hell out of me.

Drag strip testing. Here's the thread but basically in 50 degree temps it went a best of 110.5mph and in 62 degree temps it went a best of 111.5mph

That thread was inconclusive from what I read. By your own conclusion you picked up maybe 5-10 horsepower.

it takes at least 10hp to run 1mph more at 110

Its your money that will buy the xpipe therefore you will have to get your own proof. None of us here are paid by these exhaust companies to say their products work, we are relaying our experience to you! Its entirely up to you to decide if we are delusional or in fact getting an increase in performance! I don't know anyone that would buy this product if it didn't give a noticeable increase in performance!
