Oh man.... look at all the 16-22 here. When I was that age, I couldn't afford an oil change on my junkrod, much less a Cobra.

I'm 38 now.

My God. Some owners are very young. I would never buy my kid a car as fast as the 03 Cobra. Are they driving dad's car, have their parents get them one, or are they just making good money to be able to afford the payments AND the insurance. (I bet the insurance on an 18 yo with a 03 Cobra is almost as expensive as the payments!)

I'm 49, still the same guy, 65 hypo 4 speed, then the 69 gt 428 4 speed in 73, a 85 gt, 93 taurus sho, now the 2003 cobra. I'm glad it's like late 60's early 70's again and you young people are stepping up to the plate for some american iron. Awesome cars being made, to continue all need to be buying some and better will come. ford once wanted to sub the probe for the mustang we raised hell and it didn't happen. Same with the customer service, warranty issues, raise hell about it, write them, email them get their attention. I realize the worst thing is the insurance co. charging outrageous amounts to young people.

23 going to be 24 on dec 20. Bought my first cobra (98) when I was 20, sold that had an explorer for a year until I bought the 03. Just wish I could drive it but shes away for the winter. At least it's a good cause.

Wow. Look at all the young 'uns!

I could only afford a bike (human powered) when I was in school (paid my own way). Didn't get a vehicle (Chevy S10) until I was 22 (graduated) and didn't get the "nicer" ones (Cobra) until after I married a lovely young woman, secured a good job, bought a nice house, built a killer garage and maxed out my 401K and Roth IRA, and built the nest egg. First things first, guys. (Walked uphill in the snow also, lol!)

That being said, I too am surprised at all of the young people owning '03 (gasp!) Cobras? No mortgage? Insurance? Rent? Investments? Kids? Am the only one on a budget (and I do make a good salary)? 18 years old with a '03 Cobra? Wow.

No whining here, just a comment. I'm 36, by the way.

Nope..your not the only one that has awesome responsibilities. I have 4 kids (1,3,4,11), a wife in nursing school graduating in May 04' We just started building a home this month which will be finished in June 04'.

I've always had to wait to buy sports cars and own a pimpin minivan and HYUNDAI now while all of this is going on. I need 6k more for my Cobra it should happen in 1/04'!!!

And it will be black.

I'm 17, will be 18 December 30. Got the car October of last year (when I was 16). I get a good 30-35 hours a week making $8.30 an hour, pay $500 of the near $700 car payment (parents cover the rest and insurance). I pay for gas and everything else (lunch, games, etc.) with my leftover money.

I know a lot of ppl pay or help their parents pay for their cars, but I paid off my 99 ranger when I was 18, traded it on my WS6(my name, my loan), than traded it on 03 cobra, btw I pay for all my bills plus I pay for my sis's electric bill, damn that girl leaves too many lights on!!! I havent lived at home for 2 years....but I agree with I wouldnt let my kid drive this unless they were making what I am
