Age of Lightning owners

How did these teens afford an L? Especially with gas and insurance? Wow.

I didn't get my first car until I was 20. A 1961 Bug, and I drove that until I was 26. Good way to go fast on a budget, though.

Got my L last December when I was (and still am) 31.

I think it's funny that some of the guys in their 60's first cars are the same things the current generation of hot rodders are looking for.

Living at home + parents? :shrug: Just a guess dont :burn: me!!

All this info is interesting but the OP should've added a "poll" where we'd have a snapshot of the age brackets like 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, and so on. We did do one on "granfathers" last year. Not a poll, but just how many grandpops are driving Lightnings.
