air intake paint color

Who gets their cold air intake color matched to their cars? Anyone leave it textured black?

I just ordered the textured black CAI for my car. I wanna wrinkle black the valve covers and figured that would look better than color matched

Yes people so have their air intake tube (JLT here) color matched to their car. It's all personal preference in what you want to do. If you want it textured black - do it. Don't be a sheep that follows the herd.

What JR said! Do your thing. Paint it any color you'd like. A lot of folks have done this.

My JLT is color matched but sometimes the black molded textured ones tend to get dull and a gray colored.
