Can anyone tell me the differences between Mach 1 motors and 03/04 Cobra motors besides aluminum and iron blocks? Heads, cams, pistons, rods, cranks,? Thinking of doing a poor mans Cobra! Had one, sold it, regret it, now need another! If anyone knows also differences between Lincoln markviii motors too. All input will be greatly appreciated!

Pistons and rods in the cobra are forged. The cranks are the same. The heads and cams are the same. In my opinion instead of using the low compression of the cobra i would use the 10.0:1 compression of the mach 1 pistons whichever dish they are and get a forged set. You wont have to run as high boost to make big power as the cobra.
