With the use of aftermarket Uca like y'all's is a new aftermarket mount a must for low noise? I've heard that if you use the stock mount a clunk can be heard under certain conditions

Didn't even see the guy asking about the same thing before those pictures. Wow! That's a loose hole for the bolt on stock mount. Ordering soon thanks!

This is the first official production piece. We will take the order and ship this, and a red one, after we finish using them for our press release / web-site pics. What an awesome piece this is!

I'd like it better if it had Midas Touch next to it, or maybe 90 minute but I guess that will do. Awesome piece, and once I have a little cash I will be replacing my Whiteline piece for this.

What is the advantage of this uca over your eurathane bushing uca you currently sell? Also do you consider this a race only uca or is it tolerable enough to be used on the street. Because when i look at its design, i see strength and i see noise!

It is better in every way, in terms of performance and strength.

As for noise, a quality bearing like this will not create a lot of noise....but it will enable noise that is already occurring to be more pronounced.

I expect this part to be used on the drag-strip, road-course, and on spirited daily drivers - just like our spherical bearing pieces for all of the other cars that we make, including the S197.

We are using one of the highest quality bearings available on this piece. ;-)

Man! My comment on facebook was spot on! I said you would figure out how to make that UCA hold your beer.

Tommy is working on getting our first batch of these done, for release. Here is a few that he knocked out recently, that I decided to snap some pics of. He's got the mig on the collar side of the UCA down to a science!

As you can see, these appear to be single piece "non-adjustable" arms. We weld them to this configuration, then cut them - scrap some material, and tig weld Billet Tube Adapters to each end. This ensures the UCA is true, as we are able to weld the entire assembly on the jig.

We have not yet officially released this component. We did, as part of our initial release "process", put them on our web-site. Ironically, the first batch is just about spoken for. Amazing!

Kelly,

Are there still plans to offer the bearing as an upgrade to those of us with the poly version? If so, is there a time frame and price yet?

We will offer the bearing end as an upgrade, for those who have the current UTCA032 (poly bushing)

It will be expensive though. I would actually recommend selling the UTCA032 complete, then just purchasing the new UTCA033 - that way you also get the newer diff side gusseted collar (specific to the UTCA033)

Time frame is likely a few months. Price will likely be in the $200 range.

Looks like 349.95 on the site. Such a beautiful piece.

Thanks! I agree, I have one of the original prototypes on my desk, and I stare at it all throughout the day. lol

Any plans for a special release promo price?

Highly unlikely. Just being honest, typically when we release a part like this we have trouble keeping up with demand - so we usually do not discount them.
