aluminator max hp?

I'm in this same boat. Am looking at all three listed by the OP, and agree that it seems easy to jump on the aluminator but am worried about longevity. I plan on going built n/a for now with cam and longtube, plus a hefty nitrous shot (200-300) for track days...so shooting for 500whp n/a and 800+ on spray. I haven't seen any aluminators on spray but it seems to be the consensus that longterm 1000whp is the limit on the block.

My big question is: is nitrous that much harder on internals than boost (i.e. 800whp nitrous > 1000whp turbo)? I only ask as I popped a rod at 485whp/500tq (that was a low dyno, so about 520/550 really) and I'm afraid that at 800whp/900wtq I might be pushing that limit on the block.

And Fastnature, I'd be interested in your setup as well if you don't mind? I'd like some input on MMR as it seems many have issues with them but they're so damn cheap it's impossible to not consider their shortblocks. Thanks!
