Just got back from a visit to my local K&N dealer and off the phone with K&N sales. They are both telling me that the filter for our cars is not made yet.

I'm assuming the E-0945 for the '01's is the one people are putting in...but it appears it is to small.

I think I'll wait for the new one...............Don

New special K&n = New premium price:shrug:
Can anyone confirm That they have used #e-0945. I saw it on the part shelf today but I wasnt sure it would fit.

I used the K&N #0945 ..It replaces your stock paper filter.

Like I said earlier in this thread, Chris Winter just put the K&N on for me while I was getting my initial dyno tune. He had it in the shop and it fit right on. No, I did not remove the airbox. I only removed the silencer. The air box blocks all the hot air from the engine compartment and makes the filter suck from the fender.

It was the same size as the stock and clamped right on with no mods whatsoever.

Just make a quick call to Crazy Horse to verify the part number.
