The buyers of an abandoned storage unit hit the jackpot when they found a hardly driven 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 inside of it. The black coupe was covered in brown dust, but only had 720 miles on the odometer and all of its original parts. Autoblog reports that it's now being auctioned on Ebay.
Aside from a couple of scratches that it picked up being transported to its current owners’ auto shop in Duluth, Ga., it looks brand new after getting cleaned up.

The caveat emptor for bidders is that it’s being offered without a title, so getting one is up to you.

As of Thursday morning the bidding had reached $38,000, which is around the going rate for a 2009 Z06, but there aren’t too many, if any, with as few miles as this one.

Damn $38k then have to go through expense and hassle of getting a title through government dmv, then you have a car with heads that could drop a valve at anytime. There are many z06s with heads already done and clear titles for less than $38k.

How does this happen, meaning car is left in storage and abandoned?

Someone couldnt make the paymts and just left it? Scenario of how this happens is puzzling.

And after you go through all those hurdles, the real owner shows up with the original title and takes you to court to get his car back, the seller has disappeared, and you're out $38k. Pass......

^Lol @ Roland Martin^
I'd give $30k for it if the owner fixed the bumper and secured a valid title.

I can't wait for all the "Barn Find" 2002 Camero SS & WS6's to start hitting the market. I think 9/10 of them were bubble wrapped with their MSO's and commemorative floor mat cryogenically preserved.

This title is fake news.

Clearly says it’s a Storage Unit Find.

Not a Barn Find... unless the storage unit identifies as a barn.

Either way, interesting how things like that happen.
