Antifreeze in your intercooler?

Might be a bit late for this post but I hope all you guys down South have antifreeze in your intercooler systems right now.

Last time we had an unusual cold snap like this into the deep South I heard from a number of guys with cracked intercoolers.

You don't want to be this guy.

-15 here right now (-42 with wind chill)..... Luckily the cobra is in the shop at 62* :rockon:

Watch them o-rings too! My buddies lower was filling like that as well.

It was -11 this morning with a -23 windchill in Kansas. Saw quite a few cars broke down this morning on the way to work.

Even though I am a Los Angeles native I always run anti freeze in my intercooler.

It prevents corrosion and lubricates the pump and keeps o-rings and seals from shriveling up.

LOL, It is cold as heck right now. I left for the hospital and my son came along. 70 degrees. We came home 55 after 3 hours.

Yeah, I spoke too soon. brrrrrr.
