Front passenger rotor is still binding after I:
1. Replaced the caliper and greased the crap out of the guide pins.
2. Cleaned all parts with brake cleaner and replaced all metal inserts that came with new pads.
3. Bled caliper till the fluid ran clear. (truck has 100k miles)
A couple of observations:
1. passenger side brakes don't feel like they are working at speed. (truck pulls left while braking at speeds over 50 mph)
2. The truck often sits for weeks without much use.
3. I used Mobil 1 synthetic grease instead of the white lithium (caliper still moves freely)
4. I had to open the bleed screws to get the caliper pistons all the way in after almost breaking a couple of C-clamps.
Does anyone know what my next step should be?
I'm thinking of blowing out replacing the brake line next and replacing the brake fluid.
