I can see what you’re saying Almo. The nice thing is the gt2rs isn’t much heavier than the gt3, and it’s not frontal weight so it’s not as consequential to turn in or so forth. I haven’t driven a gt2 rs so I shouldn’t be so quick to blast it as less road worthy than the gt3

The 1LE va 2018 mustang gt pp1 Rest In motortrend paints an honest picture of how good an SS 1LE is for a daily driver. $46k as tested.
I like the 997 GT2RS more. Manual transmission normal front wheel steering.991 GT2 RS, hands down.
I’ve seen decent mileage from my built setup
Lots of Camaro love here. Nothing wrong with that but GM and Ford were next to each other at Detroit auto show. I enjoyed looking over the ZL1 And sat in it just beforehand the 2018 GT and GT350 and damn that Camaro interior and glass is just terrible from a sight line perspective. I respect it's performance, but I don't see how that's a comfortable or an easy to drive fast experience .I hate to say it but Chevy has an excellent car on their hands with the camaro. Straight lines I don’t see the mustang having an issue beating the zl1 or zl1 1le, hellcats, and real world demon times (on drag radials), but I don’t see this generation gt500 out doing the zl1 1le around any track that has a decent amount of corners. Maybe lime rock or seabring or sears point.

I firmly believe that Ford wouldn't bring a car this late that could not handle both the ZL1 and ZL1-L1E. From all I'm hearing there will be a base GT500 and a GT500R version.
