84 degrees? Price? Or does the mileage of 74.3 equal price ($74,300) of the car.
Its fun speculating and it would nice if it had 772HP and I would probably put it in the cart if it did. At 800 it would be a must buy
I'm thinking the torque number will come in at about 90 less than HP. I think it will be around 750HP and 660T
I don't believe Ford will challenge the ZL1 1LE. Ford has it's hands full with the base ZL1. I have no doubt it'll out power it tho.

Totally disagree...I think the plan is to smash the ZL1 in all categories. Just guessing though....not claiming some insider told me anything.
I agree Jim.I think it will be around 750HP and 660T
Rule of thumb for BHP numbers with a power adder is... catback, cai and tune will get you BHP numbers at the wheels. Up the boost with a pulley, throw a little timing at it with 93 and gain more at the wheels than the listed 772 BHP number.
If and when they hit the street, I don’t see why lots running around won’t be at or around 825-875 rwhp. This will set the next standard for numbers similar to what the Terminators did with the same mods and get a quick 460-480 rwhp.
The interesting thing will come when the Whipple Gen 5s (or other similar and comparible models) are connected to the GT500s. I wonder if the new standard then will be 1000 at the wheels with supporting mods and all.
Hellcat is already doing everything you mentioned above.
Additionally... The sad thing is I don't think the new GT 500 will weigh much less then a hellcat. 250-300 lbs maybe?
Hopefully I'm wrong.
A lot can happen from Dodge and Chevy for their next year models. Who knows, Dodge and Chevy could both twist a little with their next models and advertise in the 700/800 range. This would make the GT500 speak sound obsolete fast.
Shrug.
How long do you think it will be before GM decides to stuff the new Corvette 750 HP motor in the ZL1?
