Are the Recaro seats lighter than the stock ones?

They are manual...and i thought i read they were 70-100 lbs lighter over all
i'm not 100% correct on that figure...but non recaro seats do have all the motors, lumbar, and heater element in them.
No way it's that much weight savings.
A Corbeau seat that is manual only weights about 28-32 lbs. per seat.
A factory GT500 seat is about 58 lbs. driver - 48 lbs. passenger
The total weight savings will be ~50 lbs. or less.
similar Recaro seats in other makes are still fairly light without being 80s-style manual.....love the seats, hate Ford not checking all the 21st century boxes on them (reminds me in some way of the '95 my mother had which still sported manual windows).....2014 GT500 Recaros will most likely get an upgrade*
