I have an old Grandfathered Unlimited plan from 2008 and am thinking of moving to the new Unlimited Plus plan. Is there any hidden reason why I shouldn't?
I just wish the service was as good as Verizon out here.
I thought they get you on throttling the speeds after so many GB now. After like 15 GB it goes down to 3G speed. I know I read that recently but God only knows where...
Ugh cannot do Comcast for anything...too many bad experiences with them.I’m actually liking my Comcast/Verizon. I only do 1 gig because I’m usually on WiFi, but pick up their hotspots all over. $54.95 a month, and that includes my iPhone X.
I’ve heard that, and pretty sure it’s regional. They’re actually decent here. Not cheap though.Ugh cannot do Comcast for anything...too many bad experiences with them.
We usually only do wifi also but we have 6GB of data just in case....our one year review of average used data is coming up, i am betting we will go down in our data plan.
I usually only get on here and check the news anyway...
I thought they deprirotize you at 22gb on the new ATT unlimited, I assume that was the same with the old grandfathered. But I question with your old account do you have unlimited talk and text?

Keep the grandfathered plan. There's a reason it's not offered anymore and it's not because it's undesirable.
I upgraded my family to the AT&T unlimited plan about 4 months ago. We used over 55g last month. I didn't notice any difference in speeds/throttling/video quality nor did any of the kids as they watch netflix, etc... If they did throttle it wasn't noticeable as I watch a lot of youtube videos.
I wanna say the old grandfather plan gets depritozed aswell at 22gig if I am not mistaken
That being said reddit.com/r/att has this subject a time or 2 and has a decent read
