Pappy from atvriders.com took those pics? Id love to flattrack/tt race but nothing local. Louisiana sucks for anything to do with mx, tt, etc

Yea he did, along with Joe Stahl and Matt Robertson. It is super fun, we have been doing it for 4 years now. We run all of the nationals and local races. go to Extreme Dirt Track Racing

I find them often on ebay but they are either all way up north or in Cali. I;m not going that far to get it.

Still looking for another Banshee also but hard to find one BONE STOCK. lol
At 41 stock is fast enough. lol
Sounds to me you don't know where to look.

Not sure why you want a stock one. You can part out mods you don't want and make good money. They easy to work on and cheaper than new four strokes to fix. But not good at turning haha.

Nope, I really don't know where to look.

As far as the rest, Yea I know. I've had 5 over the years since 1988 or so.

Turning? I can still power slide with the best of them. lol

At least I hope.
Sold my last one about 7 or 8 years ago at least.

Still want stock, No bore, no milled head, no cool head, no cut fenders and most important no pipes. I want it quiet.

Don't have the time or energy to de-mod.

A stock pipe banshee? You sir are the first ive heard wanting that. I have my stock pipes in the shed. Free, pay shipping.

Try boat bikes and rvs and craigs list. Also bansheehq.com's want adds.

If you dont have the energy to demod simple bolt ons, then you dont need a bike. Sounds to me you just dont want one. But i cant blame you. My yz250 has been needing a rebuild for almost 2 years. Guess i dont need bikes either.

So how do you like the KFX?

I mostly trail ride and such so keep that in mind with my thoughts. I had a 300ex with minor crap on it I rode around for years and year

1) its plenty fast but on real tight trails 1st gear can be a little on the tall side

2) it runs HOT (Im told they all run warmer than the old stuff to meet epa standards as well as the thin/light exhaust venting more heat than the old steel pipes most quads came with). Being that I can walk out the door and ride 400 acres Im guilty of going for a cruise with just a pair of shorts on and the head pipe is obnoxiously hot at lower speeds. Im going to have my pipe coated by swain tech and find a way to kick the fan on at lower temps to try and help this.

3) something to dampen vibration to the handlebars is a must (I used the handlebar inserts)

I havent gotten to ride any other 450s but overall Im happy with this one for what I do, especially for what I paid for it. I havent ridden any other machines in its class to really compare. At full msrp I probably would have looked more at Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki and probably in that order.

Then I had a yfz 450, it didnt really fit me so I sold it to my pal. Then bought a 08 rappy 700 and love it, have the curtis sparks full exhaust (the shorty can), power commander, intake. It will eat the 450 for breakfast lunch and dinner with similar mods in a straight line, but he can beat up on me on the track as hes a smaller guy and that bike sits alot lower.

My rappy in front with the girly on it and my buddy and old 450 behind.

03 Kawasaki Prairie 700 V-twin 4x4 with a few mods.

I had an '03 as well and it was a great quad. I could take it through some deep mud, zip through the trails, and smoke a 400ex in a drag race all in a days work lol.
