Just back back from the track for my 2nd outing with the Shelby & here are the results.Only changes were different launch & shift RPM's.

2.089/8.197/12.567/116.09 100% Stock on goodyears

1.777/7.775/12.102/116.964 with ET Streets

mods are in signature.
next time out with a tune.

12.56 on stock goodyears & 12.10 on ET streets shaped like a football,man did she ever shake like hell after the 1/8th mile,looks like I will order a new pair on tuesday.

You had better slow down a bit. My C6 buds over at corvetteforum are going to be upset. The GT500 can't run better than a C6 (especially a heavy vert), can't run better than a 12.9@113, afterall.... C&D said so Good runs :beer:

I wouldn't say most, in my experience at least. It's the small ignorant minority that give us Vette drivers a bad name. Ignorant because they have never driven any other kind of performance car, never go to the track and believe exactly what the magazines say.

I was at napierville dragway in montreal canada,the DA was 331' temp was 70 at 3 & 4pm with a 12mph head wind.Launch rpm on stock goodyears was 3000 slipping the clutch ala IRS method & 5000rpm on the ET streets.I tried to launch higher but it resulted in even more tire spin.A friend is going to post a video of my 12.10 run & you will see how much tire spin I got.
