After messing with a couple of Hellcats (driveshaft blew up transmission issues and Mopar would not cover because I had aftermarket Michellin PS 325’s) a new M3 which drove great but sounded like a coffee can Honda and a new M5 which is a truly insane machine but felt almost as dead as a Tesla I went back to my first crush and picked up a sweet 13GT500 with less than 2k miles.

So far mods have been a Dynavin touchscreen system which takes the tech out of the stoneage and adds CarPlay while looking OEM which wad my #1 concern. The unit works great with very few glitches. I would say better than the system in my 2020 Denali and not as good as the BMW interface.

I also added ALP protection front and rear radar and front and rear cameras.

Last weeks project was oil catch can. I don’t like the look of the after market so picked up a Ford Performance one some steel braid line and made a bracket for it. Just waiting on the right hose lamps to arrive.

I am looking for a Flowmaster axel back if anyone has one. Of course would change the horrendous tips it comes with but really like the sound.

Congrats and welcome back. I haven't seen that catch used on a 13/14 GT500 yet.

Yea. I didn’t like the look of the JLT or the orhers and picked up on that looked like would fit from my previous GT350 experience and worked out well looking nice and OEM I think.

Other than not changing out the exh tips, try an off road pipe with the stock mufflers. Of course a tune is necessary, but the sound is just right for me.

Ha, you come from a GT350 to a GT500 and I go the opposite direction. Interested to learn more about your ALP, because I'm a rule breaker when it comes to speeding.
