The truck is said to be running mid 12s in the quarter mile.

But I would like to see it brought to Bonneville and let them really show what it can do.

Bandag had a long history of building radical diesels. In the 70's & 80's they built a series of them in the US (Tyrone Malone was the MAN) and even ran them at Bonneville. This was long before things like this were common place. Now we have diesel pickups running 100+ psi.

The COE of the company, Martin Carver, took the wheel on one of the Bonneville trips & set a new class record. Mostly, they would travel around & do the smokiest burnouts ever.

I was going to say. I remember seeing the US Bandit as a kid. That thing was insane back then, and still is.

Only difference is now I'm not a big fan of Detroit Diesel anymore.

Cool. I still act like a little kid when ever I see something doing burnouts that shouldn't.
