FOUND!!! Unbelievable ultra rare Barn Find Shelby Mustang uncovered from a storage container 1968 1/2 Shelby Mustang 428 Cobra Jet GT500KR Convertible parked in the hills of Tennessee since 1978. 1 of 318 ever produced and 1 of only 20 with a white convertible top.

Now that's an amazing barn find. Thankfully at least it was stored in a storage container. 4-speed, 428....rare indeed!

Unreal. I now love the barn find cars so much more than a restored car however original the owner keeps it. My uncle bought an all original 58 fuel injected vette that was stored in a California barn a few years ago. I never appreciated it that much until then. Unbelievable find man.

WOW! These cars are what cemented me being such a gear head. First job after high school in 1970 was working as a parts driver at Reynolds Ford in Syracuse, NY, I would come in early to get OT and I would drive service customers to work and then bring their car back. Some attorney in Syr. had a similar 67 or 68 Shelby GT500 Vert that he brought in fairly regularly and I rode with him to work and brought the car back fairly often too. I can only imagine what this car is going to go for.

Nice find!!

Theres one around here in a barn- sunk to the rockers, floors and rails are gone. basically a VIN at this point.
