Awesome race, that's what I expected between the 5.0 and the GT500, the 5.8 males top end power for days

Myself and the 5.0 driver were surprised. We both thought on the top end he would pull more on me. Instead it was pretty even but down low the TVS seems to take off better.

Surprised TT 5.0 on e85 didn't kill the GT500. Isn't that Baron zl1 guy the dbag that was a member here that Stampede kept changing his username in SD?

The TT is only 6psi, whereas the GT500 is making 17-18psi. Those Coyotes are ****ing impressive. Turbo(s) are also my favorite power adder because they make power so efficiently.

Remember the 5.0 engine is high compression from the factory so it can't run much boost, while the GT500 is low compression so it can run more boost.

Coyote 5.0 compression 11.0:1
13 GT500 5.8 compression 9.0:1

They are very impressive. Give that coyote some alky and about 10 pounds and it would get ugly.

I'd be more impressed if that kit is a strictly on3 kit, no other parts added to beef up what was already included.
Those kits are $3800!

Could be. My buddy has an On3 kit making 603whp and its been holding up with no issues. Ran 10.9 at the track on 5.5lbs boost stock converter auto car.

I would love to know if the 5.0 in this video is using all of the stock parts from the On3 kit. I have heard that over time, this company has actually gotten better about putting higher quality parts in their kits.
