beep beep???????

I think my car is trying to tell me something but i dont know what. maybe someone can translate....ok, so my car has an alarm and whenever i used to lock it it would not beep, you would just hear the doors lock and see the lights flash. well, today i locked it and it beeped (like the warning the alarm gives you). so i check all the doors, hood, etc unlock and relock and it does the same thing. I dont know what would suddenly cause my car to beep. it does it everytime i lock it now? i havent done anything out of the ordinary, maybe she's just pissed cuz i parked her outside for a few days...any sugestions? thanks :rolling:

im gonna go with shes mad, but isnt it supposed to always beep? all aftermarket door locks that i have seen beep when you lock it. check the manual or the web to see if it supposed to beep and maybe it was just waitin for now to start singin

The previous owner turned off the locking beep so that it was silent when you locked it so im not sure why it would do this now...

i dunno, but my car sometimes just destroys imports when im drivin. i dunno why it does it but its got a mind of its own.

serouisly cars do some strange things when it comes to electronics and settings my stock radio started showing the name of the song and radio station I'm on after a year and a half of owning the car and I know I didn't reset anything....:??:

I had a Clifford alarm on my TA and also had the
silent arm. The only time it would chirp was when the
battery in the REMOTE was getting low.

This was in your Cobra? That's pretty neat if it was. I didn't know they were RDS capable.

Was this just on one particular station or many?

Yep its the Cobra does it on a liitle over half the stations around here.....:coolman:
