When you put the bullet in the vice it has the same effect as it jamming halfway down the barrel - it becomes a grenade not a projectile.
On another note, I have those Honda push pin pliers. I was really happy to see Snap On come out with them a few years ago, very nice tool (minus the Snap On markup).
