I would buy some if they had the ability to be closed also. I don't have a garage and with the car sitting outside water intrusion is a big issue for me. I actually had to seal off the stock ones :( Water got the alternator :cuss: I would like for them to be open when I drive it to get the heat out and be able to shut them when the car is parked. Doug is there a chance you could fab something up like that?

That's a damn good idea.

Doug?

Already have that design.
Two problems
1. harder to machine because of all the removed material.
2. Not so good looking when you can see all your engine caps and stuff.

But you find 19 other people to buy them and it will be done. ;-)

JP

Assuming that is your car, I'll buy them off of you since you don't like them.

I get the feeling my or anyone's opinion who does not like them is wrong.
I quess I should not say anything to cut into your sales campaign.

IMO.
Looks like a street drain vent.
I agree, IMHO it's taking a step back from the stock vents in appearance.
No thanks. However I'm open to other designs and am know BF is capable of quality products so maybe they will offer diff design choices.

I still think they look great.
I really hope we get the 30 orders so I can get my set. And for the rest of you complaining about them don't post then, quit sidetracking threads like this so they can be used for what it was intended for.

thought about that... but then dismissed the idea.

If they look just like stock... why change them at all?

One thing we can all agree on is this, you can't please everyone, sorry.

You know I did not realize how opinions vary so much. THe sad thing is if you made them the way everyone wanted people still would not buy them. So why complain. I do like your factory clone idea though. I really appreciate your shops talents. That diff cover you made was awesome! DO you have any pictures of it? The pic I had got lost:(

Anyhow thanks for all the eyecandy. Regardless if I like the design I love the quality!

I think this Company has many good parts and know the hard work put into many parts. Appreciate someone thinking of good ideas and doing it.
But, why should I shut up about this? I thought the forum was for discussing and opinions. When I post about something I may Like everyone sure puts in both opinions!

I'm sorry... but I didn't ask for opinions

This is a new product and we are trying to get the word out about it.

It's fine if you personally don't like them. I never thought everyone would.

You already posted that you think they look like a "street drain vent". Maybe now it's time for you to move on.

MANY people put a lot of hard work into bringing these to market and nearly all of them are fellow Cobra owners. Why would you want to ridicule them and tell them something they created looks like shit? Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but sometimes it's best if some opinions were not voiced.

I do not know why you as a vendor have the right to tell me not to post if I do not like something.
If so many people like this, why not 30 sold yet?

I can tell you whateverthef0ckiwant... free country right? just like you can say whatever you want.

Go jump off a tall cliff, or maybe just go play in traffic.

Of course this is only a suggestion.

Yes Doug, I understand how comments can get under your skin but man that kind of response from a vendor doesn't look good. I respect your work and your products (and I own them), but I'm with CPU77 on this one. Don't take offense and flame me, just trying to help.
