Thanks everyone for the help. A gentleman (used to own a special edition Cobra in the past) flew in on Thursday from Colorado and picked up the car.
The guy was extremely happy and didn't even test drive the car!

All due respect, if I was an IT guy and my boss told me to sell his car for WAY more than it is worth I would be spending FAR MORE time looking for a new job than being my bosses personal car salesman.

I totally hear what you are saying, but now I have $2k warming up my pocket. I think I'll spend it on my little weekend car. Little baby for the SVT monsters, but it is super fun to drive!
